Return Policy

Thank you for trusting us to provide you with the highest quality of products and services. At Shine Early Learning, we strive to provide you with high-quality early learning resources and responsive customer support. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to assist you. 

Eligible returns received in saleable condition will be credited or refunded within 30 days after the returned product has been received. Only U.S. sales can be returned. Shipping charges are not eligible for credit or refund. Customers should expect that the entire return process will take at least thirty business days to complete.

Initiating a Return: To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team within five (5) days of delivery of your order for damaged products, or within thirty (30) days of delivery of your order for standard returns.

All returns require pre-approval from Shine Early Learning. Returns without a Return Authorization will not be accepted. 

Return: To verify your order is eligible for return, please submit a Return Application. You may complete the application via the online link or contact our customer support team at

To complete the return, you will need to provide the following information: 

  1. Your Contact Information
  2. Customer Number
  3. Product Information: Title, Item #, Qty, Unit Price
  4. Reason for Return 

Damaged or Defective Products:  If the reason for your return is that your product was damaged or defective, please contact us within five (5) business days of order delivery. Our customer support team may request pictures of the damaged and/or defective product to complete your return. 

Eligibility for Return: To be eligible for return, the returned product must be in its original unused condition, meet the acceptable return conditions, and include a Return Authorization Form within each returned shipping carton. The RAF will be sent after we receive the Return Application.

Acceptable reasons for return include: 

  • Product received damaged.
  • Wrong product ordered.
  • Product not as expected.
  • Excessively late delivery (over 40 days from date of order).

    Note: Torn or otherwise open shrink-wrapped packages are not eligible for return, as they are not considered to be in their original unused condition.

Notification of Return Authorization:  The Customer Support team will notify you of your return status within five (5) business days of receipt of your return application. Once approved, the Return Authorization Form (RAF) will be sent. The Return Authorization Form will include return shipping instructions such as a return address and a request to place a copy of the return authorization form in each returned carton.

Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to a product defect or an error on our part. If there is an error on the part of Shine Early Learning, we will instruct you on how to return.

Return Shipping Address: Our Headquarters and Warehouse are at different addresses. Neither location will accept unauthorized returns. The proper return shipping address is provided in the Return Authorization Form. Shine Early Learning is not responsible for returns sent to the incorrect address or returns sent without an official Return Authorization Form.

Method of Refund/Credit: Refunds will be issued for prepaid orders using the original payment method. Credit will be issued for orders placed via a purchase order. Store credit is valid for one (1) year, unless state or local law provides that a longer credit period must be provided (and, in such case, the minimum period provided in such law shall apply). Store credit cannot be used toward applicable taxes and/or shipping or handling fees.

Processing Time: Please allow a minimum of thirty (30) business days to complete the return process, depending on when your Return Application and Returned Products are received.  

Exchanges Not Permitted: Shine Early Learning does not offer product exchanges. If you ordered the wrong product and need assistance ordering the correct product, please contact our customer support team at

Cancellation Policy:  You may cancel your order within two (2) hours of placing the order. To cancel an order, please immediately contact our customer support team at or 212-289-2401, ext. 2. Cancellations initiated after normal business hours may inadvertently be processed.  Our Customer Support team will contact you to make adjustments.
